Process
How it works
- Tell us what you have. Send the form below with a rough description — photos help but are not required.
- We confirm scope and timing. Volume and access drive the estimate, so we confirm before anything is loaded.
- We clear it. Valuables and documents are set aside for the family; the rest is donated, recycled or disposed of responsibly.
Questions
Metro East estate cleanout questions
- Why is there no price list on this page?
- Because volume and access decide the number, and neither is knowable from a description. Two three-bedroom houses on the same street can differ by several truck loads once the basement and garage are counted, and a second-floor walk-up with a tight stair costs more labour than a ranch with a driveway at the door. We look first, then quote a figure, then load. A number quoted sight-unseen is a number that gets revised upward on the day.
- What happens to anything valuable or personal?
- It stays with the family. Paperwork, photographs, jewellery, and anything you flag are set aside rather than loaded — that step comes before clearing, not during it. If nobody has been through the property yet, say so when you send the form and we will plan the walkthrough around sorting rather than hauling.
- Do I have to be there while the property is cleared?
- For the walkthrough it helps, because that is where scope and the set-aside list get agreed. For the clearing itself you do not need to stand over it. Families settling an estate from out of state are a normal case, and the arrangement is agreed in writing before anything moves.
- How fast can a cleanout happen when there is a closing date?
- Tell us the date in the form. Probate deadlines, listing dates and end-of-tenancy turnovers are the usual reason for the call, and scheduling is built backwards from that date. What we will not do is promise a date before seeing the property, because an undeliverable date is worse than an honest one.
- Which towns does this cover?
- The Metro East corridor in Illinois: Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, O'Fallon, Shiloh, Belleville, Fairview Heights, Collinsville, Troy and Alton. If you are just outside that list, send the form anyway and we will tell you plainly either way.
